Angela Kung Acupuncture & Wellness Center, a holistic medical center and wellness spa, is looking for a part time Outreach Coordinator/Business Developer who will be responsible for business development and lead generation for our growing wellness center. This is a new position within our growing business. Our company thrives from our team-oriented, humble, and hardworking efforts and a drama free environment. Day to day responsibilities for our Outreach Coordinator/Business Developer include going out into the community and facilitating and building authentic relationships with referral partners, networking groups, and centers of influence. Your day to day prospecting efforts will be documented timely into our systems to ensure proper communication and team support. You will support the sales process internally by taking calls, answering patient questions, and facilitating bookings.
This position requires a charismatic and professional person to use their listening skills and positive energy to engage patients, potential patients, and referral partners. Your own commitment to a consistent follow up process, your excellent customer service and any sales experience will shine in creating relationships through phone calls, emails, and in person interactions. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday 11AM – 3PM with approximately 3 additional hours per week for networking.

Our company is located in Mission Viejo, the heart of South Orange County, just off the Crown Valley exit from the 5 Freeway, close to the Shops at Mission Viejo, Mission Hospital, and surrounding medical centers, with plenty of free parking for our staff and patients. Reliable transportation is required for success.
The Outreach Coordinator responsibilities will include:
- Confidential and professional representation of the company, the culture and the mission while always adhering with HIPAA guidelines in all interactions
- Professional relations and 5 star exceptional customer service for all patients, and our community
- Coordination and communication with front desk and doctors for optimal patient care and experience
- Provide company services information and excellent patient communications (from treatment care knowledge to insurance options and coverage)
- Perform sales and scheduling needs for patients and practitioners with support from the Front Desk Team
- Active continual outreach to reschedule and reactivate patients to maintain a full schedule, as well as upselling with packages and products
- Attend one on one’s and team meetings as assigned
- Attend networking events weekly
- Run errands in support of company needs to deliver 5 star customer service
- CRM
Ideal Candidates will have / be:
- Lead generation and Business development experience, minimum 3 years
- Wellness industry experience, minimum 2 years
- Representing the company including networking and community event engagement experience, minimum 2 years
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent follow up skills
- Professional demeanor
- Charismatic personality
- Adaptable and able to quickly learn new processes or software
- Strong professional online and technology experience
- Must have own transportation and current driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred, though not required:
- Scheduling/Appointment setting experience
- Knowledge in how medical insurance works
- Social Media Posting and Messaging Outreach/Sales
Benefits and compensation:
This position is an hourly position and pays between $25-$29 an hour. The right candidate will receive an offer based upon specific candidate experience. Bonuses will be in addition.
Part time employees after 30 days of employment will be eligible for full health benefits including vision and dental.
